How to Read This Tier List Hub

Become Hungry Worm progression splits into two spendable resources: trophies / rebirth currency for permanent stats, and cash for eggs and skins. This hub ranks both. Upgrade priority is objective for most accounts. Skin tiers mix practical lobby presence with chase value from Bronze → Lucky hatches.

S-Tier: Do This First

Permanent Speed upgrades

Speed is the universal multiplier on farming, hunting, escaping, and approaching the Worm God. If your trophies are burning on anything else while Speed is still low, reroute. Map control is king in an online arena with tens of millions of visits worth of competition baked into the culture.

Permanent Stamina upgrades

Stamina turns failed hills into completed rebirths. S-tier because a failed climb is wasted session time. Speed gets you to the mountain; Stamina lets you finish it.

Lucky / Platinum chase skins (when surplus exists)

Once upgrades are healthy, Lucky and Platinum hatches are the S-tier cosmetic targets — highest drip, highest chance at presence-defining effects, best “account showcase” energy. They are S-tier as skin goals, not as excuses to skip Speed.

A-Tier: Strong Next Targets

XP multiplier upgrades

After you can climb on command, XP makes every orb lap and takedown denser. A-tier because it accelerates the loop without fixing a broken climb by itself.

Gold egg skins

Gold sits in the sweet spot of cost vs flex for dedicated mid-game players. Excellent when you want lobby identity without Lucky prices.

Clean hybrid farming habits

Not a shop item, but A-tier “build choice”: orb floor → high-percentage kills → Worm God. Outranks fancy skins for raw power. Details in the Farming Guide.

B-Tier: Situational / Supporting

Rebirth payout upgrades

Important later, weaker first. Buy when Speed/Stamina/XP already feel decent. Boosting rebirth value while you still fail the hill is misordered greed.

Silver egg skins

Fine surplus spends. Good for collection and early uniqueness. Not worth delaying Stamina.

Starter Pack (9 Robux) / Pro Pack (49 Robux)

Convenient, not mandatory. B-tier value if you already like the game and want a nudge; skip if you prefer pure free progression. Intimidation-oriented glow skins

When they drop, they can scare smaller worms and help hunting psychology. Still B relative to raw Speed because a fast default worm beats a slow glowing one.

C-Tier: Low Priority Early

Bronze spam while unupgraded

Fun, but C-tier priority if it empties cash before your first meaningful Speed/Stamina buys.

Vanity-only duplicates

Collect if you love the grind; do not pretend they are progression.

Speed Coil (199 Robux) as a “must buy”

Optional comfort. C-tier as a perceived requirement — plenty of players climb fine without it. Purchase only for enjoyment, and only after you understand free trophy Speed.

Holding rebirth forever for mega size

A C-tier strategy error early on. Frequent Worm God completions that fund S-tier upgrades beat vanity statues.

Equip whatever you own that you can track visually in chaotic fights. Personal readability sometimes beats the “highest tier” if a skin’s effects obscure your head direction.

PvP Notes Tied to Tiers

Higher-presence skins can change how lobbies treat you:

• Smaller worms may flee earlier (easier zone control, harder catch-up bites)
• Predators may tunnel you as a trophy target
• Default skins can look like free food even on strong accounts — use that as camouflage if you like
